The record opens with an industrial-sounding intro that sets the tone for what's to come: five powerful tracks (plus an outro) heavily influenced by 80s British anarcho-punk, post-punk, and death rock. It's a desolate musical immersion, generous with epic and ambient details, fueled by catchy, repetitive riffs, playful guitar riffs, hypnotic vocal melodies, and a rock-solid rhythm section. Five tracks of sonic punitive entertainment, like the clanking of chains against the concrete of a Viennese basement, where the freezing cold turns to heat.
