OVERVIEW
Where does one begin? I guess one starts with what is Oi! music? Specifically American Oi! music…. There is really no simple answer to that, but this compilation that has been assembled by the curator of the fantastic new printed zine ‘The Spotty Herbert’ is a great sampling of some of the current crop of American Oi! bands that are actively hitting turntables and stages around the globe at the moment. By no means is this a complete collection as that would be a multi-LP endeavor (maybe we will see a volume 2?), but this should please all the skins, punks and herbert boys and girls as there is something for everyone on this collection that flies under the Oi! flag.
